It’s a Very Merry Thanksgiving Indeed

What: D23 and a 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Magic

When: November 20-30, 2014

Why: Kris has asked me wayyy back in the spring if I may be interested in going to D23 with her! I hadn’t been to a D23 conference so I as pretty excited at the prospect! I had no idea what our Thanksgiving plans would be, so I gave her a tentative yes!

In September, about two weeks before the girls cruise, a military rate was released for a Thanksgiving cruise! We had so much fun on the Thanksgiving cruise last year (ah man, just remembered I haven’t done a report for that one!!) that I had a feeling my family would be in again. I called my Dad and just about literally said, military rate is out, I’m booking you a cabin, what card should I use. Lol. Actually I called my sister first because I had a feeling she would be the hardest to convince.

But she was in! Then I called the in-laws who were in as well. Finally I called my sister-in-law. Disney changed the rules for military rates and we couldn’t get her a military rate with us, but there were some decent OGT rates! So yay! They were in too.

So I asked Kris if she would mind if I bugged out on Sunday morning of the conference and she said, of course. Yay! Everything was falling into place!

Who: D23 with Kris and a cruise with almost the entire extended family
